Homesteaded in 1896, Antlers Rio Grande Lodge is a picturesque mountain retreat nestled between the banks of the Rio Grande River and the Silver Thread Scenic Byway. Antlers offers cabins, rooms, and RV sites. We are located 5 miles southwest of Creede, off Highway 149, near milepost 26—approximately 4 hours from Colorado Springs and 5 hours from both Denver and Albuquerque.

Cabins

Enjoy a cup of coffee or a nightcap on your porch swing overlooking the river or a beautiful mountain view. It feels like a million miles from civilization with only the fresh mountain air or sound of the river to lull you to sleep. Choose the best cabin accommodation for you. All cabins come fully furnished with modern conveniences including fully-equipped kitchens, bathrooms with showers, and linens. Cabins are rented weekly from Saturday to Saturday, June through August. Discounted rates are offered for the months of May and September, excluding holidays.

Riverside Cabins—On the banks of the Rio Grande with parking right next to your cabin. These two-bedroom cabins include a queen-size bed in each room, one bath, living area with gas fireplace, futon sleeper sofa, fully-equipped kitchen, a dining area with picture window overlooking the river, and front porch with porch swing. Rented weekly from $1,250.

Two-Bedroom Riverside Cabin on the Rio Grande

Across the River Cabins—For a more unique experience, we have secluded cabins across the Rio Grande River. You’ll have to carry your gear over the foot bridge, but it’s worth the effort! All are one bedroom with two double beds, living, dining and kitchen area including a real wood-burning stove, a futon sleeper sofa, bathroom and front porch with porch swing. Rented weekly from $930.

One-Bedroom Cabin Across the River

Mountain View Cabins—Parking directly behind your cabin, these original log cabins offer both one and two bedrooms with fully-furnished kitchens. These cabins date back to the 1930s and have all the charm of a cabin experience with aspen wood flooring, updated appliances and modern bathrooms. Enjoy your morning coffee while you view the San Juan Mountains and historic cliffs of Antlers from your very own porch swing. Rented weekly from $900.

Other Accommodations

Rio Grande Motel—Located on the banks of the Rio Grande River. This one-story log motel has completely remodeled rooms. Each room offers two double beds, small niche with microwave, coffee pot, under counter fridge, and bathroom with shower. Daily housekeeping is included.

Rio Grande Motel Room and Deck

Fish from your deck or enjoy a cup of coffee or a nightcap on your own porch swing overlooking this spectacular river. Rented daily with no minimum stay from $125.

Silver Moon—Located adjacent to the lodge. This modern cabin offers three bedrooms (bedding includes one king, one queen, two twin beds and two futon sleeper sofas), two full bathrooms, living room, dining room with double door entry to your private riverside deck, family room, fully-furnished kitchen including microwave and dishwasher.

Three-Bedroom Silver Moon

Enjoy your evening nightcap watching the domestic rabbits roam your lawn. Rented weekly from $1,675.

K.Belle—Located in the northeast corner of the RV Park near the playground. This modern cabin offers two bedrooms (bedding includes one queen, one double, and one futon sleeper sofa) with one full bathroom, living room, and a fully-equipped eat-in kitchen. Great cabin for families with small children not desiring river frontage. Enjoy the colorful mountain sunsets from your own porch swing. Rented weekly from $1000.

 

RV Park

24 full RV hook-ups are available for 30 and 50 amp service. Each RV site is large, level, and grassy with a cement patio and table. There are laundry and bath facilities. Antlers lodge facilities and private fishing amenities are available to our RV guests.

Pets are welcome in your RV, but must be leashed on Antlers' property. RV sites are from $35 per night.

Policy

A deposit is required with a reservation. Deposits are nonrefundable within 60 days of arrival. Cancellations prior to 60 days are subject to a one night per reservation processing fee. Sorry, no refund for early departure. Balance is payable upon arrival. Making reservations early is recommended. Rates are based on double occupancy. No pets are allowed except in RV sites. All cabins and rooms are smoke free. Check-in: 3:00 p.m. Check-out: 11:00 a.m.
